The Huron Medical Center located in Bad Axe, Michigan is the only fully licensed acute care hospital in Huron County and the only hospital in the tri-county area providing obstetrical services. We serve patients in the Huron, Sanilac and Tuscola county area.

Our Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day/7days a week and is staffed with onsite Emergency Medicine physicians and experienced emergency room staff.  

Huron Medical Center is a certified Pink Ribbon Facility, a distinction awarded only to an elite group of healthcare facilities.

Charity fundraiser hosted by the Huron Medical Center Foundation

Huron Medical Center Foundation is hosting their 22nd Annual Linda Rowland Memorial Golf Scramble on Wednesday, September 17 at the Verona Hills Golf & Country Club in Bad Axe.  The purpose of this event is to raise money for Huron Medical Center to purchase modern medical equipment, renovate areas within the hospital and offer services close to home.

Leslee Reed Nursing Book Scholarships

Huron Medical Center Foundation Announces Leslee Reed Nursing Book Scholarships

Bad Axe, MI (October 29, 2012)-Huron Medical Center Foundation recently established a book scholarship program for nursing students residing in Huron, Tuscola and Sanilac counties.  The program, made possible through the donation of Doreen Reed Barcelow and Tamara Reed, was established in memory of their sister Leslee Reed.

Beginning this fall, the Huron Medical Center Foundation will award five book scholarships to applicants enrolled in fully accredited nursing education programs.  The hospital will select recipients through a competitive process based on GPA and other measures of academic success and financial need, as outlined in the application.
