The Medical Record Department is responsible for collecting statistics, keeping patient census reports, filing medical records, coding and abstracting diseases and operations by accepted classifications and reviewing records to assure their completeness. The medical record is a complete document from the time of admission, until discharge. During your stay, test results, treatments and records of your daily progress become a part of your medical record. All information is kept confidential.
