In the past, the community’s philanthropic support has helped Huron Medical Center (HMC) bring advanced technology, facilities, and new educational programs to thousands of families and friends. Without the continued financial support from our communities, HMC would not be where it is today. Your gift to the Huron Medical Center Foundation assures that you, your family, friends and neighbors have access to the best health care technology and compassionate care. The Foundation was created in 1990 as a separate non-profit organization, and is administered by a Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is made up of community members, medical staff, auxiliary, and administration. Through the support of patients, friends of the hospital, corporate donors, grants and people with the desire to leave a legacy for future generations we have been able to support the advancement in medical excellence, patient programs and services, purchase needed medical equipment, support facility expansion projects, and implement education programs. Our VisionProvide focused, innovative fundraising to support the Mission and Vision of Huron Medical Center. Whether a donation is given for a specific purpose or designated as unrestricted, the Huron Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees insures that every donation is used as according to the donor’s wishes. No administrative costs are deducted from charitable gifts and all donations to the Huron Medical Center Foundation are completely tax-deductible. A gift to the foundation is a thoughtful remembrance, whether given in memory of a loved one or in honor of the living for a special occasion. Contributors to the Huron Medical Center Foundation form a unique circle, one whose support nurtures the spirit and makes the day-to-day work possible.
