Huron Medical Center has the following excellent opportunities available, due to expanding services:

Central Supply/Surgical Technician
Full time with variable hours.  Candidate must be a high school graduate with current (2 years) OR experience as a surgical tech and hospital sterile processing department.  Must posses a certificate from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD), an affiliated society of the American Society of Healthcare Central Service Professionals.  A current certificate must be maintained.  Current computer skills in word processing and a willingness to learn other computer software programs desired.

Certified/Non-Certified Surgical Technician and/or LPN Surgical Technician
Casual Certified/Non-Certified Surgical Technician and/or LPN Surgical Technician.  Candidate must be a graduate of accredited school of practical nursing or accredited school of surgical technology.  Licensed as a LPN without restrictions or national certification as surgical technician without restrictions.  Candidate must have two years experience as a surgical technician.

Clinical Assistant
Full-time, part-time and Casual Clinical Assistant.  Candidate must be a graduate of accredited school of practical nursing or completion of medical assistant program is required, with certification preferred.  Licensure or certification is to be maintained.  Phlebotomy and billing strongly preferred. Customer Service and the ability to work well under pressure, to function dependently and independently and to be flexible in applying knowledge to a variety of settings involved with this position.

Clinical Manager
Full-time with variable hours.  Primarily 11pm-7am and every other weekend 7am-7pm.  Candidate must be a graduate of accredited school of nursing and current licensure as a Registered Nurse of Michigan.  Licensure or certification is to be maintained.  Two or more years of hospital clinical nursing experience is required.  Experience in a leadership role and knowledge of OB preferred, but not required.

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (Urgent Care)
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who have an interest in working in an office setting.  Previous experience in emergency room or urgent care preferred, new graduates welcome.  Candidates must also have excellent communication and customer service skills, be eligible to participate with all third party payers and licensed in the State of Michigan.  

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (Family Practice)
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who have an interest in working in a walk in clinic.  Previous experience in family practice preferred or willingness to train.  Candidates must also have excellent communication and customer service skills, be eligible to participate with all third party payers and licensed in the State of Michigan. 

Physical Therapist
Full-time, 1st shift position for our Inpatient Rehabilitation Department.  Candidate must have a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited physical therapy program. Prefer 1-2 years experience with in-patient rehab and/or acute care.  Must be licensed in the State of Michigan as a Physical Therapist.

Registered Nurse
Full time, part time, and casual positions open in various departments.  Candidate must have a current licensure by Michigan Board of Nursing without restriction.  New graduates are welcome. 

Emergency Department Nurse:  Candidate must have current licensure by Michigan Board of Nursing without restriction.  Critical care experience is desirable.  Candidate must complete trauma core within one year of employment.  Minimum experience:  RN with two-years experience in MedSurg.  Must have BLS, PALS and ACLS certification/arrhythmia class completion.  NALS is preferred.
