Accounting

Huron Medical Center's Accounting Department is responsible for preparation of all financial statistics and reporting for the Hospital Board. The department is responsible for preparation of the hospital's budget and annual financial reports.

The Accounting Department includes an accounts payable area that oversees payments to vendors and suppliers for all products and services, including medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.

Another important responsibility of the Accounting Department is to work closely with all insurance and other third-party medical payers. This includes preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and fulfillment of all Federal and State reporting requirements.

MIS 

Management Information Systems (MIS) is a department that provides technology integration and support services.  The MIS department handles items in the following areas:

• Application Support
• Network Communications
• Technical Support

MIS support services are provided remotely and on-site.  MIS also provides on-call support 365 days a year to support emergency services.
